Ceske Budejovice is the metropolis of South Bohemia. It lies at the confluence of the rivers Vltava and Malse (Malše), and hosts a number of historical and cultural monuments. For example: one of the largest squares in the Czech Republic with a beautiful fountain, a museum of historic motorcycles, the historic restaurant Masne Kramy (Masné krámy) and other masterpieces. Lovers of nature and sport will find this city attractive as well. There is a rest area and park called Stromovka and its surrounding playgrounds.
